On the occasion of the “SIAL Innovation 2020” award ceremony organized by SIAL Paris, one of the most important international fairs in the agri-food business, Bocon won the gold medal for the new item Vegetable Gnocchi in the Frozen Fruit and Vegetable category.
The award follows a long selection process that involved 526 products from all over the world, within 8 categories. It rewards the most innovative proposals focusing on recipes and packaging. The jury is formed by 20 professionals from the agri-food sector such as restaurateurs, distributors, nutritionists and journalists.
After a long R&D work stemming from a careful analysis of the market trends, we have developed this product, a vegetable dumpling with the addition of functional ingredients. Suitable for all palates, for those suffering from gluten and lactose intolerances or following a vegan diet. The high percentage of vegetable gives it its unique colour and taste, highly appreciated even by children. The range of products is very colourful, even in its packaging, giving an appealing idea of freshness and taste.
